Grassroots Survey, should smoking be banned on the sidelines???

We have this question sent in on a weekly basis, so this time we thought we woukd run a Grassroots survey to see what the general opinion out there is.

We ran the Grassroots poll on our Twitter account @FootballGrf and simply asked the following….

Should smoking be banned on the sidelines at Grassroots games???

YES

NO

The results were resounding with a whopping 85% voting in favour of a ban.

Both smokers and non-smokers were in agreement and both were of the general opinion that kids should not be exposed to adults smoking so close to there field of play and that it also sent out a bad message about smoking at a public event.

Not everyone was in agreement as 15% of those surveyed disagreed and felt a smoking ban on the touch line was unnecessary and slightly overkill.

Those are the figures in sure you will have your own opinion on this topic.

Please leave your thoughts below and If YOU want grassroots to run a poll for you get in touch.
