LONDON FA AND GRASSROOTS FOOTBALL ARE HELPING THE CITY’S LEAGUES GEAR UP FOR THE RETURN OF FOOTBALL, ONCE LOCKDOWN RESTRICTIONS ARE LIFTED.
With support from the Grassroots Fund – powered by Utilita Energy and its High 5 campaign – we have been able to provide a free COVID support pack for all our leagues, to identify club(s) or a central venue who need this support.
The pack includes:
- 50 disposable face masks
- 100 disposable gloves
- Thermometer Gun
- Hand gels
- Wipes
- Visors
Grassroots Football represent the grassroots community and offers support, resources and advocacy on behalf the millions of people who play the game or support the game. They offer a comprehensive knowledge base to assist anyone who has a part to play in making grassroots football the wonderful institution that it is.
Paul Kirton, Spokesperson for Grassroots Football, said: “We are thrilled to support the Leagues at this uncertain time, leagues play such a vital role in keeping football going and underpin the values of grassroots football in local communities. We want to be able to help give them the confidence to proceed in a Covid secure manner once football resumes without the added burden of the costs associated by providing each league with a Covid support pack.”
