September Grassroots manager of the month – Powered by Utilita Rebooted

After believing you’re destined never to win a match Whitley Bay U12s finally win a match after 2 years of trying!!!!!

“Our team has the players other teams turned away, I couldn’t, I just wanted them to have somewhere to play, honestly it kind of just became the norm, turn up, play, and get beat. To be fair it was tough but no one gave in, no one moaned we just got on with it, kept positive and kept together as a team.
If I’m honest all I care about is giving the players something to do, and I love developing them as players and people but I have to admit at one point I thought we were the team destined to never pick up a win.
The game happened as normal and we went 1-0 behind but that day there was magic in the air (and a lot of wind assistance) and we finally got our first win.”
Paul has been awarded the Grassroots Manager of the Month – Powered by Utilita Football Rebooted, Paul runs Whitley Bay Sporting Club U12s.
Well done to Paul and the team. We are now taking nominations for Octobers Manager of the Month, if you would like to nominate your manager please do so here
