Ok, I’m not one to complain, but I feel I have to vent about an incident that happened 2 weeks ago.
Every week I get to training about 30 minutes early to set up and stay back about 20 minutes to pack away.
2 weeks ago it was really wet when I set up, the weather was cold and during training the pitch cut up quite badly and made for a very very muddy, wet and cold training session.
With about 10 minutes to go the light rain turned to torrential rain to the point I could hardly even see.
I called the end of training early due to the weather, as I looked out at the pitch being lashed with rain, the 2 samba goals that needed dismantled and packed away, the balls every where and cones and water bottles all over and covered in mud.
From the very start 3 years ago, every single training session I always do everything. I never mind and I’ve never asked for help.
But this time due to the weather I turned to ask the parents if one of them could help me, one after another the excuses came
The best of which I kid you not was this corker “Ooh I can’t it’s freezing and raining”
I know it’s raining that’s why I’m asking for HELP!!!!!
I will be honest, this really has left a sour taste in my mouth as when everyone had left and I was left for 40 minutes getting drenched and cold It made me think about the word Respect and how little I received.
Same night not a single text to say thank you or sorry I couldn’t stay and help but did you manage.
Still fuming!!!!!!!
